Dwarika Nath College, Jattichak Masaurhi(Patna) was established on 26th June, 1979 with kind cooperation of the local public as Sri. Dwarika Nath Singh, executive engineers and many others who understood the importance of higher educations. There was no other institution providing higher education in the locality of masaurhi before 1979. This explains why, the boys and especially the girls belonging to the ecomonically back word, scheduled casts and other communities of rural area around Masaurhi have been deprived of higher education. D.N.College,Masaurhi was the 1st institution providing higher education in the heart of Masaurhi subdivision.It was formerly under the Magadh University ,Bodg Gaya and since 18th march 2018, it is under the nearly established Patliputra university Patna-20. Its earlier affiliation intermediate and bachelor level was granted by the government on 6th November, 1982 vide letter no 965, dated 06-12-1982 letter on permanent affiliation of Bachelor of Art Science and Commerce upto Honors level was granted by the Bihar government. D.N.College, Masaurhi is already included under section 2(f) of the U G C acts, 1956 vide letter no. F-8-86/2002(cpp-1) dated 07-07-2004 with UGC as well as included under section12(B) of the UGC Act-1956 under the head non Government College teaching upto Bachelors degree. Situated infront of Masaurhi Court Halt, the roadways and train communication facilities are easily available for the students and college staff there is an exceptionally good educational environment prevailing in the college .With around 30-35 assistant professor awarded with the prestigious PhD. degree, our Highly qualified faculty is extremely cooperative and eager to solve any material of the students of our college, explaining why our students excel with great Academic Rank every Year Even this year one of our student of intermediate science got 3rd Rank entire Patna district.
